To my complete amazement, I recently discovered that I have not yet made an episode dedicated to the wonder of Logic’s Bitcrusher. This week, I’ll take you through its key parameters before exploring how we can bring sounds to life with the Bitcrusher’s characteristic, digital aliasing in both dramatic and subtle ways. I’ll show you how automating its parameters on a per-chord basis can almost make the Bitcrusher behave like a musical instrument, before making more subtle treatments for it by introducing the Mix dial or by running the Bitcrusher after an Auxiliary effect.
