2,000km Across Australia… And This Is Just The Beginning

Five years living in Australia. And I still never made it to Uluru. When my visa ran out, I had to leave. But unfinished business has a way of pulling you back. So here we are — Laura and I, back on a 90-day tourist visa, with one big mission: drive the south, the west, the north, and finally reach the centre of this incredible country. Can we make it? Was it even worth leaving New Zealand for this? This is Episode 1. We land in Brisbane, hit the road south, catch up with some amazing friends along the way, and explore some of South Australia's most stunning corners — Adelaide's Botanical Gardens, the raw beauty of Alligator Gorge, the epic landscapes of the Flinders Ranges, and the wild coastline around Port Lincoln. Oh — and I did my best to correctly name every animal we came across. I'm no wildlife expert, just someone who genuinely loves animals and spent way too long trying to get the names right.
