There’s sanding, painting and tinkering – our renovation is a proper DIY project, somewhere between euphoria and construction site madness. Here’s what we’ve changed inside: Cupboards & fronts: From ‘shabby’ to gleaming white – we’ve sanded everything down and repainted it. Kitchen update: Worktop oiled, water system cleaned and new hoses fitted. Headliner & storage compartment: A new design for more cosiness (including a minor fabric mishap 😅). Personal touch: At last, our souvenirs from countries like Belize, Mexico and El Salvador have found their permanent place in the van. Tech & safety for the MOT: To ensure Jimmy is ready for his next adventures, we’ve also given him a technical upgrade: Chassis: New Koni shock absorbers for maximum comfort on rough tracks.
