April 12, 2026_Daedeok Church Sunday Service Text: Luke 5:1-11 Message: Turning Point (2) - From Failure to Success Sermon: Pastor Hong Seong-geon [Luke 5:1-11] 1 As the crowds came to hear the word of God, Jesus stood by the shore of the lake in Gennesaret. 2 He saw two boats on the shore, and the fishermen had come out of their boats to wash their nets. 3 Jesus got into one of the boats, which belonged to Simon. He asked them to move a little from the shore, and sitting down, he taught the crowds from the boat. 4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Go out into deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” 5 Simon answered, “Teacher, we have worked hard all night and have caught nothing; but at your word I will let down the nets.” 6 So he did so, and caught so many fish that the nets were breaking. 7 Then he signaled to his companions in the other boat, and they came When they asked for help, they came and filled the boats twice, and they began to sink. 8 When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Lord, leave me, for I am a sinner.” 9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish. 10 James and John, sons of Zebedee and partners of Simon, were also astonished.
