February 1, 2026_Daedeok Church Sunday Service Text: Genesis 26:12-22 Scripture: The God of Rehoboth Preacher: Pastor Hong Seong-geon [Genesis 26:12-22] 12 Isaac sowed crops in that land and reaped a hundredfold in the same year, and the Lord blessed him. 13 The man grew rich and prospered until he became very wealthy. 14 He had amassed flocks and herds and a great number of servants, so the Philistines envied him. 15 Now all the wells his father's servants had dug in the days of Abraham his father, and they had stopped them up and filled them with earth. 16 Abimelech said to Isaac, "Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we." 17 Isaac left there and pitched his tent in the Valley of Gerar and lived there. 18 He dug again the wells that he had dug in the days of his father Abraham, for the Philistines had stopped them after Abraham's death. Isaac called them by the names his father had given them. 19 Isaac's servants dug in the valley and found a well of water. 20 The herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac's herdsmen, saying, "The water is ours." So he named it Esek because they quarreled. 21 He dug another well, and they quarreled over it again, so he named it Sitnah. 22 He moved on from there and dug another well, but they did not quarrel over it.
