Solo Walk Through Jupiter & Loxahatchee: A Day of Grief, Distance, and Trying to Keep Moving

Today was my first full solo walk across multiple parks and coastal spots in Jupiter and the Loxahatchee River area. It wasn’t peaceful in the way I imagined. It was emotional, scattered, and heavy at times. I visited Winding Waters Natural Area, DuBois Park, Carlin Park, Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse area, and Blowing Rocks Preserve. Weather changed the plan, timing got disrupted, and I spent a lot of the day alone with my thoughts and memories. This video is less about hiking and more about what it feels like to move through familiar places while carrying loss, loneliness, and the process of learning how to be alone. This has been my journey to being alone for the first time in my 40 years.
