I challenged myself to go out alone every week for a month

for the past year, going out alone — especially outside my neighborhood — started to feel impossible. anxiety turned my own city into something unfamiliar, and I slowly stopped exploring Tehran the way I used to. so I decided to take small steps back. once a week, for a month, I left my safe zone and went out alone: returning books to a library in a neighborhood I'd never visited, walking an art & architecture route through Elahiyeh, sitting in on a lecture on Tehran's history, wandering through galleries and bookshops in Iranshahr, and finally — going to the cinema alone and getting lost in my favorite bookstore, Damavand. this video is a quiet, honest record of that month: the small wins, the cancelled plans, the cups of tea, and slowly finding my spark again. if you've ever felt anxious about doing things alone, I hope this gives you a little push to try it too. ✨✨✨ Follow my daily life on Instagram -   / stranger_in_tehran   More about Iran on my website - https://strangerintehran.site/ ✨✨✨ in this video: 00:00 - 01:50 anxiety & losing my spark 01:50 - 06:28 library & recent reads 06:28 - 11:10 walking Elahiyeh 11:10 - 12:03 lunch in the park 12:03 - 13:18 lecture on Tehran`s history 13:18 - 13:33 reading at a cafe 13:33 - 17:36 art in Iranshahr 17:36 - 19:10 solo trip to the cinema 19:10 - 19:36 getting lost in Damavand bookstore 19:36 - 19:56 a cafe I`d been wanting to try 19:56 - 22:20 final thoughts ✨✨✨ #Tehran #Iran #SoloTravel #SlowLiving #TehranHistory #VlogIran #AnxietyJourney #IranianCulture #Bookstore #SoloDate
