Zen Yoga for working with the Hara (belly) - with Daizan Roshi
In the Zen Yoga system, the "Hara" is seen as being more than just your belly. The Hara is the centre of your being and the seat of your personal power and grounding. It is something that can be cultivated like anything else. In this short video, Daizan Roshi demonstrates how we can learn how to relax this area – which is one of the first to tense up when we're stressed or anxious. He also teaches us how we can introduce some level of voluntary "tone" (as opposed to involuntary tension). #hara #zenyoga #juliandaizanskinner
