Who hasn't found themselves wanting to stay in a place much longer than planned? It happened to me in Monenvasia, in the Peloponnese. I met some special people I didn't want to part from. But that's life on the sea – there's always a moment when you have to set off again. So, I continue my solo coastal sailing journey, which will take me and my Maruzza down in Africa! But living on a boat is expensive! And when the calm hits, I prefer to turn off the engine and wait for the wind to come back, even if it means I have to do a lot more night sailing. Anyway, for now, my boat trip takes me to the Greek island of Kythira. I know this island very well because I made a TV documentary right here.
