I’ve arrived in Zakynthos, one of the most famous Greek islands for tourists. It's a very popular sailing destination, but what I found here was far from what I expected. The Caretta caretta sea turtles are being disturbed by thousands of people arriving with their speedboats just to photograph them. It's absurd to think that, under the guise of environmental conservation, the lives of these animals are being threatened! During my sea adventures, I had never seen anything like this before. So, I try to change my anchorage to escape all this, but I experience a dangerous malfunction while sailing, and I have to find a calm bay to make repairs. This puts my life at risk as I climb the mast, and it was a miracle that the waves from the speedboats didn’t knock me down! Safety at sea can sometimes be really precarious...
