S3EP11: A Very MERRY Christmas!

Bonjour et bienvenue! In this episode, which is my eleventh for the year, Shaun and I take you to our friend's Walnut Grove and Eco-museum. It's harvest time and so we volunteer our time to help with the mammoth task of sweeping the grounds by hand for walnuts! That's not to say it's all done by hand - it is machine operated these days but people are still needed to finish the job! We also start to prepare for winter. We never had to in Brisbane Australia, but here in Daglan you really need to prep for the cooler season! We order firewood and I Winterise my garden PLUS for the first time I plant bulbs. I also show you a little of the Sarlat Christmas Marche de Noel and some of our own preparation for what will be a very quiet Christmas for us this year. Just the 5 of u! And we're definitely looking forward to some quiet time. Maybe a time to watch some old classics like 'Crocodile Dundee' and 'Muriels Wedding'.
