PATREON:   / waterfallacrylics   *********************** COLORS/BRANDS/POURING MEDIUM RECIPE: 20 oz batch of homemade pouring medium (PM): 8 oz Elmer's Glue All; 8 oz Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss; 4 oz water. Mix well! Add PM to your colors at a 1:1 ratio, and augment as needed with a little more PM to get the desired consistency. I prefer my paints on the thick side so that no cells appear after you flip the cup. I leave a 2 second trace in the cup. After mixing my colors, I add 2-3 drops of Spot On Treadmill Silicone to all colors except white. Stir gently--you want to mix the silicone with the colors but not break it up too much or you'll get a million baby cells. Pigments used are This Little Piggy in Cresendo and Sea Glass. To disburse the pigments, I used 1/2 tsp. and wet with JoSonja Gloss Varnish (just enough to make the pigment a liquid). Once liquid, I added two heaping tablespoons of Golden Regular Gel Gloss; mix well. This will thicken up the pigments considerably to a tube paint consistency; then you can add your pouring medium. Start with a 1:1 ratio and add PM as needed to reach your desired consistency.
