ASC T-128 - Alert - Cedar Falls, IA - 6/3/20

(Siren Starts at 0:44) Alright so this was an interesting day. I have finally gotten around to filming this T-128 thats literally 1 block away from my house! I also finally successfully gotten tones in Black Hawk County! This means that for now on there will be tones in any up-close siren video thats in Black Hawk County! I wasn't able to go to a siren today so I decided to walk from my house to Orchard Hill Elementary School to film this T-128. I have filmed this T-128 from my house 3 years ago which was on June 7th, 2017. This T-128 still sounds just as good as ever! This is the first time that I heard this T-128 up close because when I was attending Orchard Hill Elementary School there was a Thunderbolt 1000 in this location and I would always hear that siren instead. It got replaced by this T-128 in July of 2016. That was the summer when I was going to start middle school. This whole area has completely changed ever since Orchard Hill decided to add an extension to their school. They tore down two houses, the entire old playground, many trees, and other things to make room for the new part of the school. The old playground ended up getting replaced with a new playground. If you view this place on google maps, this place looks completely different. Lets just say that my entire elementary childhood got completely ruined because of all of these things. In the distance you can here 2 T-128's. The lower pitched T-128 is located at Seerley Park. The T-128 thats the same pitch as this T-128 is located at Cedar Heights Elementary School. Cedar Heights Elementary School also had a Thunderbolt 1000. That Thunderbolt got replaced in July of 2016 as well. R.I.P. to the Thunderbolt 1000's. That's all I gotta say for now.
