ASC T-128 - Alert & Attack - Hampton, IA - 6/8/20

So, I'm going to say that this day was a success and a failure at the same time. As you can see in this video, Hampton's 2T22 has gotten replaced by this T-128 but the 2T22 is still there! Hampton's Allertor was replaced as well but it also got taken down. As for the Thunderbolt 1003, it is still there and active but I don't know how much longer it has until its demise comes as well. Yes, this is the town with the Thunderbolt 1003 thats painted green. I never knew that Hampton was replacing their old siren system. If I knew that Hampton was replacing their sirens I would've re-filmed the Thunderbolt 1003 thats in town instead. I didn't think that Hampton, IA was a town that would replace their old siren system. I know the Thunderbolt 1003 went off as you can BARELY hear it in this video and you can clearly hear it in my ambiance video. You can also hear another T-128. That other T-128 that you can hear is located where the Allertor used to stand at. The fact that you can hear that T-128 a lot better than the Thunderbolt 1003 is kinda disappointing to be honest. The reason for that is because the Thunderbolt 1003 has a severe air leak. That Thunderbolt 1003 has a lot more potential for sounding a lot louder and more powerful but Hampton just won't fix the problem on that damn thing. I hope that Hampton decides to leave the Thunderbolt 1003 and just let it run until it dies. Thats better than it getting taken down. The reason Hampton decided to replace their old siren system is because the Allertor that was very under-powered finally gave out and died. They tried to fix the Allertor but couldn't find parts for it so they came up with the idea to replace their old siren system. Anyways, this month they only set off the sirens for around 30 seconds for each signal instead of a minute which was really disappointing. After the siren test I walked up to both of the sirens and saw that the wires on the 2T22 control box were cut. Welp, now I know that they are never testing this 2T22 ever again. At least I caught this 2T22 going off from a distance when I filmed the Thunderbolt 1003 last year on June 10th, 2019. R.I.P. Hampton's 2T22 & Allertor. You will be missed.
