XS750 restoration, getting this classic back on the road

#enginerestoration #motorbike #restoration This is my XS750S from 1979 The engine was rebuilt and failed within around 50km from rebuild and after its first ride. I've completely rebuilt the engine, it has new pistons, new chain, gaskets etc as well as a modified second gear to ensure reliability. The brakes were seized from sitting around for a long time, so I rebuild front and rear brakes, machine the discs as well as fit all new pads. Next step is finish the fuel system, tidy up a couple of wiring problems and then try a first start.
