Ranking the American Revolution's Generals
To celebrate the 4th of July, I decided I was going to make a video that I have wanted to see on Youtube for a long time, but no one else has done it, so I will. America had many generals who served us in the Revolutionary war, but honestly, unless you’re already a bit of a Revolution nerd, I think most people have only heard about Washington and Lafayette, then maybe Henry Knox, Benedict Arnold, maybe Nathaniel Greene. But as it turns out, through the war we had a lot, over 70 actually. That being said, only 29 men were promoted to major general during the war, the highest rank below commander in chief, who was, of course, George Washington. So today, we’re going to rank all 30 of these men from worst to best and we’re going to try to answer the question - who was the best American general in the revolution? Obviously, this is all just my opinion, and I would love to hear in the comments who tops your list.
