A2A Cessna 172 First Look, Short Flight and STOL Madness!

Here's a first look video at A2A Simulation's Cessna 172 Trainer aircraft which was recently released. In this video I to fly a 'used' version of the Cessna, with over 2000 simulated hours on the airframe and 700+ hours on the engine. Various issues and faults show up in the pre-flight and hangar inspection, some of which I choose to ignore (to my peril later, as you will see...). The simulation fidelity of this aircraft is far superior to any other general aviation aircraft I've seen simulated yet, and the detail and realism has to be seen to be believed. You may have flown Cessna's in your sims before but take note, this is no ordinary Cessna! For the first time, doing a pre-flight and proper inspection of your aircraft before flight becomes almost critical. Even better, the methods and procedures required by the simulated aircraft can be readily transferred into real world operations. This video is intended as a light-hearted intro to A2A's wonderful Cessna and I hope to make many more videos on it soon. I didn't intend to perform all operations, checks and inspections to the letter, but more give an overview; one thing is for sure, this plane will catch you out so be thorough in your pre-flights and pay attention to your plane!
