In Tanzania, World Villages for Children has 3 programmes: Kisarawe Girls School, and Kiluvya Nursery and Training Centre. The need for quality education and training in Tanzania is so evident in the visits the Sisters of Mary make to the country's poorest areas. Seeing a real need for more than just secondary schooling, the Sisters started the Kiluvya Training Centre for women to support out of school young women. The Nursery was started in response to seeing how many young children were left alone at home so that their parents could go work to survive.
