ETA is a Basque organization founded to fight the rule of General Francisco Franco. Over the years, the group has committed over 800 murders, half of which were ordinary citizens. Today, ETA remains controversial. Some consider them unsung heroes in the fight for independence, while others consider them murderers and criminals.
