The war between Russia and Georgia had historical roots. Russia's differing policies and attempts to influence Georgia led to armed conflict in 2008. Seeking to keep Georgia within its sphere of influence, Russia resorted to various methods, and the separatist regions of Abkhazia and North Ossetia greatly assisted in this endeavor. This film is about the outbreak of the war, which resolved nothing in the long term, and today Georgia remains under the strong influence of the Russian Federation.
