【大山】知られざる縦走路、大山南稜尾根【山ごはん：ピザトースト】_2026.02.14-15

In early February, I climbed Mt. Oyama in the Tanzawa Mountains. The starting point was Seihō, located in the Kōbōyama mountain range, the foothills of eastern Tanzawa. From there, I hiked along the southern ridge of Mt. Oyama to the summit. I descended to the Koma-sandō trail and stayed at a ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) there. The next day, I took a leisurely route from the lower shrine, passing through Hinata Yakushi and descending to Nanasawa. This was an unusual route for a Mt. Oyama climb, involving both ascent and descent, but it was a very peaceful and enjoyable hike. Staying at a ryokan after descending was also something I don't usually do, but it was fantastic! I made pizza toast partway along the southern ridge.
