Stow Hill - Shropshire Hill Walks 16/130 Highest Shropshire Hills AONB

Stow Hill (434 m). is the 16th highest hill in Shropshire. Respect due... respect given.... Tackle this one from the village of Stowe (yes, it's spelt differently) which is just to the south. Walk to the right of the church, then behind it and continue up to a gate. At this point, you have a choice. there looks to be an interesting route up something called Holloway Rocks... but there was a pheasant shoot in progress on my visit, so I scooted left to take an easy path up through a wood called 'Ragged Kingdom'. Keep heading straight and you come out on a high meadow. Now turn right and follow the high-ground up and along until you eventually find the trig point.
