The factory, one of the largest globally, produces high-quality track slabs using Japanese Shinkansen technology for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor. Minister Vaishnaw highlighted the importance of these slabs, which will directly hold the rails without sleepers, ensuring precise alignment and track stability.
