Tyne & Wear Metro full journey Airport ✈️ to South Hylton 18/03/2025

https://www.nexus.org.uk/ticket-infor... My last journey on the Tyne & Wear Metro was on 4081 (994081) (with 4068 (994068) leading) on the 2I12 1650 from Airport ✈️ to South Hylton. Because 4081 (994081) was coupled to 4068 (994068), there were no announcements, not even manual from the driver. 4073 (994073) and 4081 (994081) are the last units to have the old "Tyne Woman" voice. On the other units, "Tyne Woman" was replaced by Mark Bryant (the current Tyne & Wear Metro onboard announcer) between 2014 and 2015. "Tyne Woman" still announces at all Tyne & Wear Metro stations, apart from Sunderland which has Celia Drummond (previously Phil Sayer until 2015) as Sunderland is managed by Northern.
