DL 9014 in Tauranga, JA 1271 returning to Te Kuiti and other NIMT Trains ~ 04 to 07/10/2022 (HD)
DL 9014 turned up round my way a few days before I left for Wellington (via Taihape). Then on a rather sunny Friday, steam locomotive JA 1271 ran another excursion from Papakura to Te Kuiti; the first of many throughout October. Besides the JA, we'll also see DFB 7213 with the Northern Explorer passenger train and a few of the regular DL-hauled freight trains.
