JB 1236 and the Ruapehu Mountaineer (ft. DC 4818 and DBR 1254) ~ 04/07/2026 (HD)

On the 4th of July 2026, steam locomotive JB 1236 ran the 'Ruapehu Mountaineer' excursion up to Ohakune and National Park, while the Glenbrook Vintage Railway's DC 4818 and DBR 1254 were busy with special charter services getting people to the 'Mardi Gras' event in Ohakune. I was initially thinking the only excursion I'd see on this trip would be the Mainline Steam excursion with JB 1236, and didn't find out about the shuttles with DC 4818 and DBR 1254 until the morning of.
