Jesus in Genesis: Light and Darkness

In the grand biblical narrative, the creation of heaven and earth represents the intended union of God and humanity, a sacred space for divine fellowship. From the primordial darkness, God speaks light into being—an act that foreshadows the revelation of Christ, the true Light, entering the spiritual darkness caused by sin. This divine light shines forth so that God might be known and relationship restored between Creator and creation. Thus, the story of creation is not merely about origins but is profoundly the story of salvation and redemption through Jesus Christ, pointing from the first creation toward the new creation where God dwells eternally with His people.
