Chapter 3 — Mother’s Day

Have you ever thought about how much work your mother does for you every single day? This story shows us what happens when a family forgets to say "thank you" for all the help they get at home . Mrs. Pearson’s family treats her like a servant and expects her to do everything, like ironing clothes and making tea, without ever helping her . With a little bit of magic, she teaches them that mothers deserve to be treated with kindness and respect and that everyone should do their part to help . • Mothers work very hard and should not be treated like they are servants in the house . • It is important for everyone in the family to help with chores like getting supper ready . • We should be polite and thoughtful to our parents instead of just giving them orders . • Families are much happier when they spend time together, like playing a game of cards . This play helps us see that a happy home is a place where everyone shares the work and treats each other fairly . It teaches us that mothers have rights too and should be able to enjoy their time just as much as anyone else . What is one thing you can do today to help your mother at home?
