Vaccines train the immune system to recognize and attack harmful germs before they cause illness. Antibiotics are medicines that kill bacteria, but they do not work against viruses or protozoa. Staying healthy requires a balance of nutritious food, regular exercise, hygiene, and a positive attitude. Taking care of our body and mind is important because healthy habits support both a healthy body and a healthy mind.
