Climbing to the top of Mount Muggio - Alpe Giumello - Lecco - Trips in Lombardy On today's trip, we're in Alpe Giumello, in the municipality of Casargo, in the province of Lecco, at 1,550 meters above sea level. After parking the car, we begin the climb to the top of Mount Croce di Muggio. The trail we took is the shortest but most challenging, starting from the small house where paragliders take off and leading uphill to the summit, where the cross is located. From the top of Mount Muggio, you can admire Lake Como and all the surrounding mountains. For lunch, we stopped to enjoy the typical dishes of the Ristoro Genio restaurant.
