ATV Spot spraying, Building a UTV Sprayer, Farm Workshop Plasma Project, We’ve lots of spot spraying to do, spot spraying broadleaf weeds in Grassland and spraying along new hedge planting and spraying around young trees. Knapsack sprayers are hard work all day and difficult to keep filling up with water and Agri chemicals. We use the new SwiftCut plasma table to cut out our first project and make a spraying system to fit on the John Deere Gator. It this would work on a Polaris or any other UTV. We cut out brackets to make a cost effective water tank for filling the sprayers and rewire the UTV with D plug sockets to power the sprayers easily and safely. The quick to fit spraying system will save hours around the farm and out contracting and make the work safer and faster. We get one electrical fitting from Kramp, we’ve never had any of their parts before but ‪@joeseels‬ and ‪@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer‬ use their products regularly and seam to rate their quality and service. Rick is really happy that we’ve managed to make our first parts from scratch with the plasma table and now he’s started learning how to draw machinery parts with CAD there’s going to be no stopping him in the farm workshop. We just need some dry weather now and hopefully next week we can test the new farm spraying buggy and get in top of the weeds. We continue to promote our industry and we really enjoy developing our little channel. Hopefully we can entertain and in time also inspire others to get involved in UK Agriculture, forestry and environmental contracting.
