The Future of Agriculture - Today’s Students at Horsch. German Butchers Shops, German Forestry Today we fly to Germany for a very lucky Ollie to spend his weeks school work experience ‪@HORSCH_Maschinen‬ in Schwandorf in Bavaria, Germany. On this amazing trip Ollie gets to see the whole workings of this amazing company on an inspirational work experience that he will no doubt mould his future career path. Horsch has 260 young apprentices across the business training the future of farm machinery innovators. We look at some amazing Horsch machinery, the German countryside, German farm land and forestry. We were blown away with how organised and efficient the German rural landscape appears. We travel to southern Bavaria and the climate just 3 hours south is still in winter, too much snow for farming but too little for skiing ! We visit Munich and see how good the Germans Germans are at butchery, amazing meat on display, Germany must be a world leader in cured meat it looks, smells and tastes amazing! We visit ‪@BMW‬ museum and whilst Ricknisnt good at museums and tourist things there are some amazing cars on show. We visit Füssen and look at the castle that was built in alpine backdrop and inspired the ‪@disneyanimation‬ original fairy tale castle. And if all that’s not enough Rick gets of a photo of storks mating ! We continue to promote our industry and we really enjoy developing our little channel. Hopefully we can entertain and in time also inspire others to get involved in UK Agriculture, forestry and environmental contracting.
