Tractor Rescue Mission, Plasma Cutters, Future of Farm Workshops, Classic Car Roadside Rescue, MGA Rick heads out for some classic car motoring in the MG A. Sadly the Sunday drive ends in disaster and the MG A breaks down. So we pick up the new Bailey Low Loader and and take it for its maiden voyage. We’re so pleased that we specified the trailer with a winch, the first trip out is a recovery and we easily winch the little classic car onto the big low loader. Dropping the air suspension down on the trailer means the ramp angle is just shallow enough for the little sports car to clear the beaver tail. The MG clutch slave cylinder is at fault, which is disappointing as we replaced it last week and unfortunately the new part only lasted about 20miles before failing, they don’t make things like they used to! Rick heads off to Swiftcut for a day of inspiration and training on a plasma cutting table. Once he sees it in action there’s no going back. This is the future of farm workshops. Being able to cut out any shape and profile in metal sheets is going to transform what we can mend and manufacture in house. We continue to promote our industry and we really enjoy developing our little channel. Hopefully we can entertain and in time also inspire others to get involved in UK Agriculture, forestry and environmental contracting.
