Was gluing this HUGE threshold a BIG DIY MISTAKE?

In this video, I’m taking on the challenge of cutting a large reclaimed oak threshold to size and fitting it into my raised living room floor section, right where we step out through some newly installed French doors. Now, while most people would rely on mechanical fixings, damp proof course, and cavity closers, I decided to take a different approach – glueing everything down, including the DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) and the oak plank itself. But did it work? Was the glue strong enough to hold everything in place, or did I risk ruining all my hard work if it failed? I didn’t know if it would be secure enough, and I didn’t want to end up having to tear it all out and start from scratch!
