Today, we visited Steakhouse Rakuen, a long-standing local favorite located in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. The owner, who truly loves his restaurant, his steak, and his customers, has been grilling Wagyu steak all by himself for over 30 years. His steaks are incredibly popular, and as expected, the restaurant was completely full on the day of our visit. But it's not just the steak that draws crowds—the menu features hearty portions of other dishes like stir-fried udon and fried rice, both of which are also fan favorites. I ordered the steak and stir-fried udon, and it was more than enough for one person! (The steak even comes with a generous side of stir-fried vegetables.) So be sure to keep the portion sizes in mind when ordering!
