1992 Evinrude 15hp Fix and Flip

In this episode, I bought a 1992 Evinrude 15hp outboard that had been sitting in a backyard for several years. Seller didn’t know much about it. He had gotten it from a friend. It was definitely one of the nicest motors I’ve worked on. A quick carb clean and much time spent diagnosing bad kill switches (yes plural). In the end, the motor ran awesome and sold for a good profit faster than I could have hoped! This one was tricky. Spark tested ok even with the kill switch not working properly. Apparently there was just enough spark lost to cause problems. Watch and let me know your thoughts! Would you have figured out the switch faster?
