🥵 Finally, an air conditioner in our campervan! After much deliberation, we opted for the Truma Saphir Comfort RC and in this video, we'll show you our complete installation step by step. ✔️ Why we deliberately chose not to install a roof-mounted air conditioner. ✔️ How we decoupled the air conditioner to minimize vibrations. ✔️ Why we installed the air outlets in these specific locations. ✔️ How the air is drawn in and cooled before being released back into the living area. ✔️ Our first practical test in summer temperatures. Of course, we'll also openly discuss the areas we'd like to improve. Warm air tends to collect under the ceiling in the sleeping area. Therefore, we'll be testing various fan solutions next and will report in another video whether this further improves the cooling performance.
