After an appointment on Friday, we couldn't set off until the afternoon and initially battled our way through numerous traffic jams to Neumünster, where we spent a peaceful night at a lovely campsite. The next morning brought a surprise: After a phone call, we learned that some spaces had become available at the Kiel Canal after all. So we headed straight there and were rewarded with a campsite that offered a fantastic view of the canal. ...
