This beautifully tranquil village is one of the few places in Indonesia that practices Christianity, giving it a unique local culture and atmosphere. After a peaceful walk taking in the scenery, we pull up to Renny's Tangkoko Beach Waroeng, a fantastic little beach bar right on the water. There is truly nothing better than cracking open a cold Bintang beer and listening to the gentle sound of the waves while watching the local children and chickens at play on the shore. If you are looking for a slow-paced, off-the-beaten-path look at everyday life in Sulawesi, this is the perfect slice of paradise.
