479 - Manchester buses: Bee Network and Stagecoach on Wednesday 13th March 2024

On Wednesday 13th March 2024, we visited Manchester to film Bee Network and Stagecoach buses at work. We have narrowed down the photographs or videos of the 50 ADL E400 electrics to just three remaining and have completed all thirty of the Stagecoach 84xxx series. We noted increased use of LED lighting on offside adverts on buses and we filmed our first "24 plate" bus at Harbour Village - an E200MMC in Bee Network livery. It was noted that more and more buses are now appearing in the "faded yellow" Bee Network livery and, of course, this will increase over the rest of this year as we move nearer to a full Bee Network in Greater Manchester. Hopefully, someone will see sense and revitalise the Metrolink livery as, on many of the trams, the spots have lost their colour and the trams looks very tatty indeed.
