1119 - Stagecoach Cumbria & Lancashire: Buses in Preston on Tuesday 30th June 2026

Welcome to Podbaba Transport Video 1119. On Tuesday 30th June 2026, we spent around three hours in Preston City Centre filming Stagecoach Cumbria & Lancashire (the new company name that covers from Chorley to Carlisle) buses. We also filmed some of the Archway Travel of Fleetwood buses working on Services 74 and 75 to Fleetwood via the Fylde villages. Stagecoach 10534 and 11111 were on hand too as the first two of eleven double deckers recently transferred from Stagecoach Merseyside & Manchester Gillmoss depot. It was interesting to note that 11111 was, in fact, masquerading as 36100 on bustimes.org but it is little surprise as, recently, bustimes.org has been very unreliable reporting buses. On 30th June 2026, both 10534 and 11111 were shown to be at Gillmoss and not used for a while along with the other nine buses, one of which is operating from Lillyhall depot. This was our first trip to Preston since the 111 service had been extended to Tanterton but 11116, the bus with 111 route branding was not in service.
