Costs we paid: Crispy Chicken Poie Rs 120, Chicken Cafreal Poie Rs 100, Chicken Peri Pockets Rs 100) We are on our way to Navelim. Me, Sophie, Jaya and Maria are going to a new gada, which has opened, called Oye Poie! So, as you can imagine, we are looking forward to having some nice stuffed poies Oye Poie is a new gada that opened this May. It is located on the corner of the Margao Western Bypass and NH66 in Calwaddo, Navelim Only 3 items, but everything non veg. Oops! No veg option for Jaya. This sometimes happens in South Goa Sophie tried the Crispy Chicken Poie (Rs 120), without cheese. I had cafreal (Chicken Cafreal Poie; Rs 100) and Maria had pockets (Chicken Peri Pockets; Rs 100). Pockets, okay. We’ll take 1 of each Ashley, who hails from Curtorim in Salcete, opened Oye Poie on May 14, 2026. He has the Goan entrepreneurial spirit. He said he didn’t want to work under someone so his mom pushed him to open this gada. And his girlfriend Celina did all the marketing and promotion for Oye Poie. His dad, Joaquim, was taking our orders and serving us. This family-run gada starts serving at 5 pm, till the food runs out The servings here are really generous I’m not the biggest fan of chicken cafreal and I really enjoyed my cafreal poie, so it says a lot I tried Sophie’s chicken crispy. I liked it even more than the cafreal. I tasted Maria’s spicy peri-peri chicken pockets also. A very good option if you want a slightly lighter snack without the bread. Tasty. And they make this less spicy also The chicken was all so tender and so yummy A really nice place, guys. Quite a find for us for our evening snacks near our house. Don’t miss. Enjoy life.
