Self Trust | Sketchbook Rituals #4

What if your sketchbook became a ritual instead of a task? In this video, I’m sharing a look into my sketchbook practice and the rituals that has become one of the most grounding parts of my creative life. Most days begin the same way. I light a candle, pull a card or several, set an intention, paint intuitively, and end with a quick journal entry. The process shifts daily, but the ritual helps me slow down, pay attention, and reconnect with myself through art. Lately I’ve been reaching for tarot, oracle decks, and animal spirit cards depending on what I feel drawn to. Over time, collecting decks has become a bit of an obsession. I love how each one carries its own visual language, symbolism, and energy. Today’s Pull: The High Priestess (reversed), The Fool, and The Sun Tarot Deck: Many Queen Tarot: https://www.lettiejane.com/many-queen... deck from a beloved artist here in Portland, Oregon Message: I trust myself, even when the path ahead isn't fully clear. In the past, I may have questioned my intuition or looked outside myself for answers. The High Priestess reversed reminds me that my inner wisdom was always present, even when I wasn't fully ready to trust it. The Fool in the present encourages me to move forward with curiosity and courage, knowing I don't need certainty before taking the next step. The Sun in the future points toward greater confidence, authenticity, and joy. This spread shows a journey from doubting my own knowing to living it openly. As I trust myself more deeply, I create space to be fully seen, celebrate who I am, and move through life with greater freedom and self-assurance.
