Bass fishing legend Charles Redding carried former GON editor Lindsay Thomas Jr. for an early May trip to Lake Weiss along the Alabama-Georgia line. The largemouth bass were in the grass and hammering spinnerbaits. This action was filmed on May 9, 2000 for an episode of GON-TV, and it includes Charles talking about the early days of fishing BASS tournaments in 1970.
