Oshie - OSHAAH - Part 2 Pa Asaah explains

The Oshaah Dance, which is manifested by the Njid Society is the most powerful all-male dance in Oshie. Any Oshie male who considers himself a "man" and wishes to join, must be formally initiated into it. Males who are not initiated are not even permitted to see it in action, when it's dancing. On 3rd April 2010 Mr Ateghe Jonas, who, one month earlier had been initiated into the Njid society, was actually making his first dancing experience, during a cry-die organized by him to remember some late departed family member(s). Mr Angwabu Emmanuel from Nyebai was very present and active because he had "washed his hands" about six months back.
