RESTAURATION DAUPHINE 1961 : Restom Fill Metal et préparation du moteur avant peinture (Ép. 21)

We're back this week for a crucial bodywork and finishing step on the 1961 Dauphine! On the agenda: I'm tackling the rocker panel I've repaired. To smooth everything out and correct any remaining imperfections, I'm applying Restom's Fill Metal 9020 steel filler. After a good sanding, I'm moving on to the meticulous preparation of the engine block, masking off anything that shouldn't be painted. Finally, I'm using 320-grit sandpaper to sand down the Ferose I applied to protect the underside. It's a lot of work requiring patience, but it's the key to a sound and perfect base! Let me know in the comments: Have you ever tried Restom steel filler for finishing welds? What's your favorite tool for sanding rocker panels without getting too tired? I look forward to your comments and tips! Thanks for your continued support and likes! #RenaultDauphine #CarRestoration #Didou'sGarage #Restom #Bodywork #SteelFill #1961Dauphine #Sanding #CarPassion
