Episode # 5603 THE QUESTION Original airdate: 9-02-56 Playing the game "What Are You?" alters the course of a psychologist's life in this interesting drama starring Loretta Young as Margaret Channing, wife and mother, whose main interest in life is psychological research. But, one simple question leads her to analyze her own innermost secrets and changes her whole outlook on life. Loretta co-stars with handsome Craig Stevens, who plays her husband Phillip, who would rather she spent more time with him than playing analyst. Craig Stevens would go on to his starring role on television as private detective Peter Gunn from 1958 to 1961 in the Blake Edwards series. In 2000, at age 81, Craig Stevens died of cancer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Rhys Williams, portraying Professor Green, was a Welsh character actor in films and television whose career spanned several decades. He made his film debut in How Green Was My Valley in 1941, but is perhaps best known to fans of the television series, Adventures of Superman as a sadistic character in an early episode called "The Evil Three" (1952). He made a guest appearance in 1958 in the Perry Mason episode, "The Case of the Purple Woman." His other television appearances include the religion anthology series, Crossroads, The Rifleman, CBS's The DuPont Show with June Allyson, Peter Gunn, Riverboat and The Lloyd Bridges Show. Williams died on 28 May 1969, in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 71; His remains are interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
