What I ACTUALLY Used on the Camino de Santiago

After walking the Camino de Santiago, I wanted to take one last look through my backpack and talk about what actually worked, what barely got used, and what I learned the hard way. This isn’t a perfect packing guide or a professional gear review — it’s just my honest gear rundown after hundreds of miles on the trail. My backpack came in around 18.2 pounds, and as I like to say, the backpack is only heavy twice a day — once when you put it on, and once when you take it off.
