Episode 26 Shiloh Tabernacle

Welcome to Episode #26 of our series, “Picture This” from Israel! This episode takes us to the ancient site of Shiloh. Located in the Hill Country of Ephraim (Samaria) and about 20 miles north of Jerusalem, Shiloh served as the location of the Tabernacle (the “Mishkan”) following the conquest of the land by Joshua. In this video you will see the excavation of the site (I had the chance to help with the dig a few years ago). You will also hear about the incredible story of young Samuel as he responds to the voice of God with the Hebrew word “Hineni" (Here I am!). Others in biblical history used this word as well (i.e. Abraham, Jacob, Isaiah). The excavation of the site continues under the leadership of Dr. Scott Stripling and the Associates for Biblical Research.
