Episode 27 - A Hike in the Zin Desert in Israel

Welcome to Episode #27 of our series, “Picture This” from Israel! This episode takes us on a hike in the beautiful canyon of the Zin Desert. Located in the region called the Negev in southern Israel, this desert is mentioned a few times in the Old Testament. Numbers 13 and Numbers 20 are the two main texts that we try and picture happening here. As we enjoy this short hike in the canyon, you will notice the water in the stream and the high walls above us. Even in the hot summer months water still flow here. During the winter months when downpours can occur, this stream often gets flooded. While the hike ends at the small water falls, the hike actually continues up to the far rim of the canyon.
